

The Power of Art
Last night I had an art opening at the Star Deli sandwich shop and gallery in Omaha, Nebraska. It was part of Benson’s First Friday art showing. It was a joint show, The Color of Stories, with my husband, photographer Jerred Zegelis, & my son. This photo is my son hanging some of his paintings when we were setting up for the art show. Keeping it Real
So, when I disappear from social media for a few days every once in a while, it’s usually because I’ve dipped into that place of self-doubt and start worrying too much about content and what my audience wants and I think of a million things I should be doing and get so overwhelmed that I shut down. And the worst part of this ~ I stop reaching out, I stop connecting, I basically stop being me, because I worry that the me I’m going to show up as won’t fit into the version of m


Zach
I had a great time shooting Zach's senior photos. He's such a fun, easy going guy ~ comfortable in his own skin, which is not always an easy thing when you're in high school. With such a great outlook on life, he's definitely got some amazing things ahead of him. Can't wait to see where his path leads. #seniorportraits #omahanebraska #photography
